Description
After a 2 year study into the nutritional products my customers were using in Wales, I decided to make a drench specifically for their needs.
I have subsequently found out that most areas in the UK and Ireland have similar deficiencies.
Most of the market leading drenches have a very long list of ingredients in them, the majority of which you do not actually need.
This product is targeted with a higher level of ingredients of what you are deficient in along with what compliments what you are deficient in.
Dosage rate are very small – from just 2ml – 5ml for sheep and just 5ml – 15ml for cattle so it is quicker, easier and cheaper to use.
Maximum levels of the core ingredients Cobalt, Selenium and complimentary ingredients Vitamin B12 and Vitamin E, essential ingredients Vitamin A, B1, D3, Iodine, Zinc and Copper – the drenches come with and without Copper to tailor for the continental breeds which can retain Copper longer than the native breeds.

I have known Bryan for a number of years now.
I drenched the ewes pre lamb and it made a hell of a difference. We have used other drenches before and not seen much of a change, with did with Bryan’s Sheep & Cattle Drench. They had been out for so long in the rain and they’d probably lost a 1/3 of the food on the ground. Some of the early lambs had swayback but we did them 2 weeks ago and have not had any symptoms of swayback since. Some of the lambs were also a bit lethargic and wouldn’t suckle but it got them going straight away.
I also saw a big difference when we weigh them. We had some weak lambs at the beginning, at about 3 weeks, but when we drenched them they got a lot stronger. The smaller dose means it is easier to use and it last a lots longer. It also makes it cheap compared to others we’ve used.

Bryan was recommended to me by my brother who has known him for years. I did a trial with the Sheep & Cattle drench and another product. I have to say the product from Welsh Farm Supplies was far better. The lambs altered more, it was easier to use because of the small dose and it was cheaper. I said to my neighbour it is the best drench I have used and the cheapest.

We had some very thin store cattle, they were very thin when we bought them in, they were on a poor field with not much grass but when we dosed them they improved dramatically. We have dosed some lambs now and seen a big improvement and that’s with no grass either. We were very impressed with the ewe lambs that had lambs who all had the Sheep & Cattle Drench pre lamb. The lambs were bigger and better and the mums had plenty of milk. We are very pleased with it.

I’ve know Bryan for probably 20 years now. The Sheep & Cattle Drench has done very well here. The Welsh ewes scanning was up about 10% and the lambs that have had it have altered well. I have also given it to the ram lambs I breed myself and they are looking very well on it.

The sheep are looking very well and they’ve been wet all winter. They’re actually looking better than usual. We drenched the ewes with twins pre lamb and the yearlings with singles and we are very happy with the condition and grading.
After Lambing:
Everything that had the drench lambed well, were full of milk and they all had really healthy lambs. We hardly had a poor lamb. We also drenched some big lambs we had away at tack and they never do good but they really improved in condition.

The product did really well on the ewes pre lambing and since then the lambs that were not coming on in the sheds. They all got drenched and they came right on. I’ve now done all the cows and calves and you could see the difference really quickly.

My son compared the ingredients and prices and yours was about half the price of the one we were using.
So we did the young heifers and it did very well. They had a tinge on them but it made a big difference and put a shine on them and that was only three weeks ago. I didn’t do them all but I will now.
We did the ewes pre lamb and you could see the boost it gave them.
We have now done the lambs and it made a big difference on them too.

I gave the Drench to all the lambs and they are thriving and are definitely better than they were. It is also very cheap to use. We will carry on using it.
2nd: I have to say the lambs are going off quicker than ever. I’ll give another dose to the lambs but I’m also going to drench when I bolus the ewe lambs next time too. The bolus is okay at keeping a level but the drench gets the levels up very quickly, it’s obvious.

I used three products with three batches of lambs and yours came out the best. There was another product that did ok on one lot, but not as good as yours and it is a lot more expensive than yours. My main problems here are Cobalt, Selenium, Copper and Iodine.

We saw a really big difference with the Hogs. To be quite honest they are the finest looking Hogs I’ve had in any year. It also made a big difference on the cross bred lambs.

We dosed all the ewes pre lambing and again before they went out. I have to say it did really well and we are very happy with it. I will now do all the lambs.
2nd: The lambs always stall at weaning and this year has been tough on them. I have to say though after drenching the lambs with the Sheep & Cattle Drench they bloomed right up. They are healthy looking, gaining weight and growing on which they don’t always do at this time of year, so it is working well.

We really like your drench. We do all the cows before bulling and then before calving. We also do all the calves. Another thing we did notice that really helped was the smaller dosage makes it so much easier to use. I remember using one that was 100ml for the cows, they just couldn’t take it.

Your Sheep & Cattle Drench, we are very, very happy with it. We did our fat lambs about a month ago and they have absolutely bloomed so fair play to you. All the stores turned around quickly and so did the kill ewes. They all went fat like anything. We normally have 6 or so stragglers but we turned round every one – that has never happened before. I will spread the word for you as I am very well known in the area and I think you will gets lots of new enquiries about it.
2nd: It really works the Drench and I’ve told loads of people about it. We dosed all the lambs and 2 weeks later I thought good god they’ve altered, it has absolutely turned them around and there is a real bloom on them.

We are more than pleased with the Sheep & Cattle Drench. The lambs really brightened up in colour, it really showed after we drenched and they are looking well.
2nd: We had one bad lot that were on the mountain in December and I didn’t see them again until late February. They had gone backwards. We drenched them the day they got back and I have to say within a week they had picked right up.

We were really impressed with the Sheep & Cattle Drench which is why we wanted more. Normally reps come round with products with a really high dosage rate but with this it is much smaller so much easier to use. I had gentlemen look at my calves and were very impressed with them. People see how they look and the shine on their coats and they get impressed. It sells itself but if anyone asks I tell them the job it has done. The coats have such a shine on them and when people see that at the market they sell well. If the coat is dull they think they’ve had a problem. I only have cattle but they all get it, cows and calves, if it moves and has four legs they get it!
2nd: I dose the calves soon after they’re born and it really does improve them. I then dose about every 2 – 3 months and by god the shine on them, they’re such nice coated, they look well and they fill out. They look different cattle altogether.

The product did very well on the lambs. It also did a very good job on the cattle. We haven’t had any ringworm since using the drench either and nothing has changed apart from the drench we use. The buildings, the fields, the feed has all stayed the same but we have not had any with it.
2nd: We have still only had 1 with ringworm since we used your Sheep & Cattle Drench and we used to have a big problem. In that time the only thing we have changed is the drench.

We used the Drench pre lamb and on the young lambs. It has done very well and I will be doing the lambs again with it.

We did the lambs with the Drench and it has done a good job. It’s a good idea it is the same product for both Sheep & Cattle at the different times we want to do them. I will want more for weaning.

The lambs have done absolutely fantastic on the Drench. They all weighed well and we have been getting them away which is a surprise after the summer we’ve had. It also made a big difference on the calves. We will want more for pre tup.
2nd: We used the Sheep & Cattle Drench pre tup and all the ewes went to the tup very well. I don’t think there will be many that need tupping again. That makes for such a better lambing as you’re all done in a fortnight, it doesn’t start to drag on for over a month.

We did the ewes pre lamb and it did a good job. We then did some lambs and not others in the same field and I have to say you could see the difference. We used to inject Copper for swayback but we don’t have to now. We will have more for weaning.

We use both drenches, with and without Copper depending on what we’re doing either Sheep or Cattle. It does really well on both. After the drench they always look a lot better. I did get offered a slightly cheaper product but I turned it down, if it’s not broken…….
2nd: We had a bunch of lambs in the Autumn that weren’t doing so we gave them your drench and the bulked up no end.
We also drenched the ewes pre lamb and we had a very good lambing, they were strong lambs when they were born and had a real get up and go about them. Plus we didn’t have and swayback at all.

I didn’t want to leave a comment until I had used the Drench more and on different stock. I have to say now it has been beneficial, it is helping the ewes and lambs and it does make a difference to them. Another bonus is the dosage rate, the small dose makes it easier to use and we can use the small dosing gun rather than the big one.

We did the lambs with the Sheep & Cattle Drench and it has done fantastic to be fair. The lambs are looking very healthy on it.

We now give the Sheep & Cattle Drench to all the calves and cows. You can really see the difference in them after and we are very pleased with it. The other thing we think is much better is the dosage rates. The products we’ve used in the past have been a much bigger dose. It’s not easy getting 50ml in them, they can cough and splutter and you end up with half of it on the floor. The smaller dose is much quicker and easier to use.

We drenched the lambs in May and then again in August. You can tell the difference when you’ve done them. We never do the ewes as we get enough lambs, but we will continue to use the drench on them.

We are very pleased with the Sheep & Cattle Drench. We are in fact very pleased with everything we’ve had from Welsh Farm Supplies. The ewes have all been dosed 8 weeks apart and so have the lambs and they all seem to be doing well so fair play. We also didn’t have any little lambs left over when they all went to fat and even the stores. We normally have a few that are rubbish but we didn’t have any this time.

The Drench has done very well for us here. I think Copper was definitely our problem but I have seen the biggest change in them. I always have a problem with the coats and also the rams have scaly ears every year. We have had none of that this year, the coats have a shine on them and the ears look much smarter and the only thing I’ve changed is using your Drench. We did 2 doses in 6 months. We are very happy with it and we will want more next month.
2nd: We drenched the ewes pre tupping and had a brilliant scanning. We had 2 sets of triplets, 4 singles and the rest were twins. We then drenched pre lamb and they all lambed together with no problems at all. I’ve told my neighbour about the Sheep & Cattle Drench and he’s borrowed some of mine so I’ll need some more for the both of us!

Our problem is getting the lambs away early. We have some ground that is lacking in something so we used it there. The lambs all did well and quickly, they were filling their bellies and now they look very good. We want more for pre tupping.

The Sheep & Cattle Drench is definitely the best drench I have used and my neighbour thinks the same. It is the speed in which you see they change that gets me.
2nd: I have now done everything on farm and we have seen a massive improvement and it was an immediate result. It is so much more targeted too, we are so low in Cobalt round here and the Sheep & Cattle Drench has more Cobalt in it than others I’ve compared it to which is so important to me. The new blend is also much easier to use as it goes through the gun so much better and it is a smaller dose than others.

We drenched the lambs at weaning and they have really come on. It is working well as they have a real colour on them and they are clean. We are very happy with it.
2nd: We drenched the lambs 6 weeks ago and they’re as clean as a whistle. The early lambs have had only 1 or 2 drenches and they are looking so well and their coats are looking really good.

When we give the Drench to the calves they look healthy and the coats have a real shine on them. We give the stores 2 or 3 doses and you can see them growing. The Selenium helps when calving too. When you calf down they are all born alive and well and 99% are up and sucking within half an hour. My brother bought a product but you had to dose 100ml. This is so much easier being a small dose, it lasts longer too as you don’t get much out of a bottle at 100ml. I would recommend it to anyone.

We dosed the ewes 6 weeks before lambing and they lambed very, very well. We had fewer loses than usual – it worked very well on them. Then we did some young calves and they did very well too on it. We have now done the lambs too and there is a noticeable change. I want some more for pre tup and then I’ll want more for pre lamb.

We had blood tested and we were low in Iodine, Copper, Selenium and Cobalt. I used a drench before but saw no difference and it was very expensive. The Sheep & Cattle Drench did well on the lambs and was much cheaper than the one I used before, so I will carry on using it and will want the same order at the same time next year.

We used the Sheep & Cattle Drench on some lambs we had trouble finishing and some yearling ewes that were not doing so well. It did well on them and it helped them. We will want more in October.

We did half the lambs with your Drench and half with another Drench. Yours did well but was also quicker, easier and cheaper to use as it was a much smaller dose. We will have some more for pre tupping.

We did some of the smaller lambs with the Sheep & Cattle Drench and they all did well. We then did the lambs at weaning, they all did well too and you could really see a change in colour in them.

We dosed all of the ewes with the Sheep & Cattle Drench, they are looking well, in good condition and they’ve all taken to the ram so it’s worked. I will be reordering when I need more.

We did the ewes with the Sheep & Cattle Drench and they look in a hell of a good condition. We then did the lambs and they did very well too. We will want more later in the year.
Gwyn Griffiths. Heol Ddu Newydd Farm, Swansea. –
I would recommend the Sheep & Cattle Drench to anyone, it worked marvelous. I had 50 sets of twins that were very, very slow with the wet weather not helping either. After I drenched them they shot on and got to 47 kilos in no time. It is a very, very good product.
2nd: We drenched the ewes pre tup and we had more twins this year.
3rd: We did the ewes pre tup and pre lamb and we had the best lambing ever.

The lambs altered when we gave the Sheep & Cattle Drench to them and we now give it to any calves that are not thriving or look like they are lacking in something. We dose the lambs bi monthly.

We had two batches of lambs at weaning and we drenched one lot with the Sheep & Cattle Drench. You could see the difference between the two. The lot that were drenched had a better colour and condition on them.

We gave it to the ewes and lambs and it did tidy, they came on well and the lambs fattened really well.

I’m happy because it actually did some good. It paid to do it and I would do it again. The ewes are all looking well and they went to tup well.
2nd: We did the ewes pre tupping and pre lamb. We had a better lambing percentage with more twins, we also had a fast lambing with everything coming together. It has done a very good job here and I will be using it more moving forward.

We are very happy with the Sheep & Cattle Drench. The first time we used it was on a bunch of lambs and we marked them all. We noticed a big difference and in performance. We have recently used it again and it is definitely making a big difference.
2nd: We did all the older ewes pre lambing and they look very well and we’ve had no twin lamb at all.

We are very pleased with the Sheep & Cattle Drench. We had an increase in our scanning after doing the ewes pre tup. We also had 150 ewe lambs that we drenched, 3 weeks later we had 60 ready to go as fat.

We are well chuffed with the Sheep & Cattle Drench – it works a charm. I bought some lambs at £54.00 and when I brought them home I drenched them. That was a month ago and I got £74.00 yesterday at market. They looked great and they’ve only had your drench. Also the cows took it no problem because the dose is so small. I haven’t got the best crush and nothing holds their head but they all took it fine. I’ve used all the drenches out there, the one’s everyone says are the best, but its nice to get something that works and is cheap to use.
2nd: We drenched the ewes pre tupping and our scanning was up to 187% so we’re well pleased with that. The sheep look in real good order.
3rd: I drenched the lambs this year with your wonder tonic at first Nemo drench. They were good weights and good prices 2 weeks earlier than last year. Good man and thank you sir.

We only give the Sheep & Cattle Drench to the lambs and hogs but we’ve really noticed a difference. They’ve come back as good as they’ve ever been.

We have done some in lamb ewes and some lambs with the Sheep & Cattle Drench and it has done well. The lambs are lively and they have a real good colour on them. The new born lambs are the same.

Right all my sheep buddies. I used this product for the first time last year. Best result I’ve ever had, finished nearly 1000 in four weeks at 12 to 16 weeks old. Never done that before and the only thing I did different was using this product (sheep and cattle drench with copper) Plus the sales rep is my relation so come on, help this young (ish) lad make a success of his job. We drenched the ewes pre lambing and the ewes lambed as good as they ever have and we didn’t have to assist. We also had a lot less pro lapse than usual.

We drenched the lambs and the ewes pre tupping. The lambs did really well on it and we had a good scanning, better than usual with more twins and less triplets. The lambs did a lot better and they sold quicker.
2nd: We pulled the mule ewe lambs and they are looking better and bigger than we’ve ever had.

We know we have a real Copper problem here. We did some ad lib feeding powdered minerals last year but they were still thin. The lamb wool would look shabby and they wouldn’t fatten. Since we dosed them this year with your Sheep & Cattle Drench, they were fatter this time round and the lambs and the wool had a real nice gloss to them.

We has 100 lambs that weren’t doing so we gave them 5ml. That was a few weeks back and we had them in yesterday and fair play to you, they’ve come right on and are now at the weights we wanted. Considering the weather they’ve had its gone very well. I’m not being funny, but it’s much better than the one you used to do.
